In 2015, Degrassi cleaned up at the Canadian Screen Awards, with the show winning four awards in four different categories. This year all four winners will have a chance to repeat, as they’ve all been nominated in their respective categories again.

Aislinn Paul: Best Performance in a Children’s or Youth Program or Series (Give Me One Reason)
Phil Earnshaw: Best Direction in a Children’s or Youth Program or Series (Finally Pt 2)
Matt Huether: Best Writing in a Children’s or Youth Program or Series (Give Me One Reason)

Two other Degrassians received nominations for other projects: Stefan Brogren was nominated for Best Direction in a Children’s or Youth Program or Series for Open Heart, and Ana Golja was nominated for Best Performance in a Children’s or Youth Program or Series for her lead role in the movie, Full Out.
